Filtration System
Aulare combines three-stage filtration with built-in UV sterilisation to keep circulating water cleaner and fresher around the clock.
Every filter set uses a pre-filter sponge, activated carbon and ion-exchange resin. Together, these layers are designed to:
- Remove up to 99.9% of chlorine that can affect taste and upset sensitive stomachs
- Reduce 95–98% of heavy metals such as lead and copper
- Target 90–95% of common pharmaceutical residues found in municipal water
- Catch hair, sediment and debris before they return to the drinking bowl
The UV unit sits inside the pump housing and works continuously to neutralise up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses without added chemicals. Because water is treated as it circulates, it stays filtered throughout the day rather than only after a refill.
For best performance, replace the filter every two weeks. Your fountain includes eight filter sets to get started.

Yes — most cats adjust well. A simple way to help is to place the fountain where their old water bowl usually sits and let them explore it at their own pace for the first few days.
Yes, the Aulare Fountain includes an AC adapter — and it barely uses any power. It consumes less electricity than charging your phone, so it costs almost nothing to run 24/7. And unlike battery-powered fountains where old or cheap batteries can leak or swell, AC power means zero risk of that happening inside your cat's water supply.
We recommend changing the filter every 2 weeks to ensure fresh, clean water.
